Yesterday, I just followed the guidelines to set up Ruby and MySQL on my Vista machine. It was really time-consuming. I really don't know whether I set up everything correctly or not.
I have been an IT specialist for a long while. I was a MS SQL Server and ORACLE DBA before and now focus more on web development and CRM system. I have some experience to develop web page by VB script, Javascript, HTML and ASP. However, both Ruby and MySQL are new to me. I believe this will be a good opportunity to explore new DBMS and web development tool.

I actually took ITC594 two years ago but was unable to finish it. Why? I broke my forearm in the middle of the course. I hope this time I will do much better than before.
